Meet Coeur d'Alene owner Erkki Oranen

My background in the restaurant business started with TGI Fridays and I was with them for 8 years opening many restaurants for the company. I moved to Spokane in 1983 and partnered with Cyrus Vaughn. I took over running Cyrus O'Leary's restaurant in downtown Spokane, which I later purchased and also helped start the Cyrus O'Leary's Pie Factory. Through the years Cyrus and I have opened numerous restaurants including Swackhammer's Cafe Rio, Coyote Cafe, Just Like Home Buffet and then in 1993 and 1994 with the two Tomato Street restaurants. My goal has always been to give the employees the best teamwork oriented environment where everyone has fun while giving our guests the best food and service possible. We pride ourselves on a very family friendly environment with made from scratch ingredients. Come have fun at our 2 locations.
